I loved hearing Monique Deschaine, owner of Al Dente Pasta Company talk about her passions in life and starting Al Dente. She has a vibrant personality and I want to capture that in a redesign of the Al Dente brand.
She gave us an overview of the company’s history and her reasons for starting Al Dente. When she spoke, an important point to think about is who is the audience? There are a wide variety of grocery stores and Al Dente is displayed on and the design needs to reach all the stores. One of our main goals is to analyze and explore the Al Dente logo. From the promotional materials there is no cohesive theme displayed through the labels on the bag, to the business card.



Key concepts she wants for the label would be to highlight the fact that pasta cooks in 3 minutes compared to the other brands of pasta that cook in 10 minutes
First we are going to brainstorm terms and mind mapping, I’m excited to get started!
